Moonflower Set – Wallpaper

Quickly threw down a re-made wallpaper texture and did some tweaking to tone down those harsh specular highlights

Lambert shaders in Maya never seemed this shiny by default

Much better—but the rest of the room still needs similar tweaking. That can be tackled piece by piece as new textures/shaders are added. I may yet change the wall mesh and re-do the UVs, though, as none of these pieces are connected and I want to be able to bevel the corners later.

Also took advantage of Blender’s viewport Ambient Occlusion. It seems to run faster than viewport 2.0 did on my desktop. Overall I’m working on this at a very casual pace—whenever it crosses my mind—as I’m working on content for Sakura Maple and my YouTube channel.
